By Car

M1 route

Leave junction 9 of M1 sign posted towards St Albans and Redbourne the road is about 2 km long. You will arrive at a roundabout take first exit signposted to Harpenden, which is about 2 km long. When you arrive at the roundabout take the first exit signposted to Harpenden (you will pass the cricket ground and common on your right) at the next roundabout (Silver cup pub on you left) turn right into Bull Road about 100 meters turn left into Southdown road and Harpenden Hall is about 500 meters on the right hand side a massive tree is in our front garden behind which is the Hall. Visitors staying for 1 hour can park outside the building on Southdown Road (front of the building) or Arden grove (side of the building). We do have a car park at the rear of the building take the right turning into Arden Grove and at the back of the building we have two car park entrances. Please note that visitors need to park in specific spaces please check with how you are visiting to check where and availability.

Main entrance to the building is at the front look for the big tree.

A1 Route

Leave at junction 4 follow signs for Wheathampstead along the A6129 for about 1km at the roundabout take first exit under the A1 motorway then at the next roundabout take second exit on the Brocket Road B653 along this for 3km next roundabout take second exit signs for Harpenden 1km next roundabout straight over second exit heading for Harpenden along Lower Luton Road 3km until the next mini roundabout turn left first exit sign post Harpenden onto Station Road. Follow this road 1.5km until you enter the town of Harpenden you will see the railway station on your left slow down as Arden Grove in the next turning on your left past a parade of shops. Turn left into Arden Grove 100 meters and the rear car park of Harpenden Hall is on you right. Note that the public hall car (modern building) is also next door please do not park there.

By Rail

Harpenden is on the main Capital connect route from St Pancreas station (fast train 26 minutes) when you get to the station exit the main exit and walk right down station approach (200metres) turn left and walk 100 meters past a past a parade of shops. Turn left into Arden Grove 100 meters and Harpenden Hall is the old building on your right before Arden Grove bends to the right. Walk into the last car park entrance and down the path to the front of the building look for the big tree.

By Air

Nearest airport is London Luton, which is either 15 minutes in a taxi or you can get a train at Luton airport south, which stops at Harpenden railway station (following instructions on Rail above)
